Join the Egyptian Chapter PR Committee for a fun and refreshing garden stewardship day at Rend Lake on June 24th from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Meet at the Rend Lake Visitors Center: 11981 Rend City Rd.\, Benton\, IL This is your chance to dig in\, connect with nature\, and help beautiful gardens thrive! We'll kick things off with a 30-minute interactive gardening education session\, then roll up our sleeves for two hours of hands-on planting\, tending\, and nurturing the landscape. Whether you're a seasoned plant lover or just curious about gardening\, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Come dressed in your Egyptian Chapter attire and don't worry if you don't have any! Event shirts will be provided upon arrival. Please bring your own knee pads or gardening pads and water. Wide-brimmed hats\, sunglasses\, gardening gloves\, and sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Volunteers will be asked to fill out volunteer paperwork.Registration is required. Deadline is June 19th at noon.Volunteers will be asked to fill out volunteer paperwork. Please bring your own knee pads or gardening pads and water to stay hydrated. Wide-brimmed hats\, sunglasses\, gardening gloves\, and sturdy walking shoes are recommended.
