Join us for our first ever 'Putt Putt Palooza and After Par-Tee,' hosted by our MIRA Affiliate Partners! This NEW traveling putt putt event will take place on Thursday, March 5th where a total of (18) foursomes will putt their way through a series of unique mini-golf holes located at participating affiliate offices. Tee off is at 2:00PM, wrapping up around 5:00PM. After 'Par-Tee' starts directly after, 5:00PM-7:00PM at Gill Street Sports Bar & Restaurant. DETAILS FOR PUTT PUTT PARTICIPANTS: 1) Foursomes are $100 each and participation is open only to MIRA members. 2) Check in is required between 1:00PM-1:45PM at Gill Street Restaurant & Bar. 2) Mulligans & skips are allowed through cash donations at each "green". Mulligans are $5 a piece and skips are $20. 3) Be creative and HAVE FUN! Team themes, T-shirts or costumes are encouraged, not required. 4) Round consists of 9 holes total. (2) foursomes will putt per hole and are allowed a maximum of 20 minutes to play each green. 5) Putting will be scored and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place teams at the mixer. 6) Final hole number assignments and starting team details will be available the week of March 2nd and at check-in. 7) Non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and giveaways may be provided by the hole sponsors. Once your team has completed the last hole, head back to Gill Street to join your fellow "putters" and MIRA members for the Putt Putt Palooza 'After Par-Tee' from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Admission into the After Par-Tee for all members of the foursome are included in the foursome price. Practice your putt and don't forget the cash as we'll even have a 50/50 After Par-tee 10th hole where your 'putt could pay off' for a chance to win a cash prize! Don't want to golf but still want to join the fun? No problem! Non-Golfers and Non-Member Guests are invited to join us at the 'After Par-Tee' for $15/person. Admission price includes (2) drink tickets and appetizers. DETAILS FOR SPONSORS/HOSTS: 2) Only (9) host opportunities are available, first come-first served. To keep golfers moving in a timely fashion throughout the day, only affiliates offices that fall within the geographical territory of GE to Ireland Grove and Towanda Barnes to Veterans Parkway are invited to participate. Area boundaries will be reconsidered in future years to allow for other affiliate offices to participate. 3) (2) foursomes will putt at each green and will have 20 minutes to play each hole. Please make sure all putters play through in a timely manner. 5) It's up to you to set the par and difficulty of your hole.There is no minimum or maximum for difficulty of a shot. Final par number for your hole will be requested a week before the event to allow for accurate score cards. 6) This is your time to shine and be seen! Non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and branded giveaways are highly encouraged! There will be 72 total "putters" participating throughout the day. 7) Get creative! Themed holes/costumes are encouraged but never required. Once your last team has putted through, join your fellow hosts, putters and MIRA members for the Putt Putt Palooza After Par-Tee at Gill Street Restaurant & Bar from 5:00-7:00pm. Admission is $15/person for non-golfing members and guests with (2) drink tickets and appetizers are included. Description
1) Cost is $100 to sponsor/host a "green", payable online only. Each participating host is required to have 1 hole, 1 ball and 1 putter at a minimum for teams to participate with.
4) Mulligans & skips are allowed through cash payments and will be collected by the host at each "green." Mulligans are $5 and skips are $20. All money raised will be collected by MIRA after the event. Further details and day-of rules will be emailed out the week before the event.Additional Info
