Spotlight on Involvement Social Hour 2025

We're kicking off the 2025-2026 committee sign-ups with a 'Spotlight on Involvement' Social Hour!

Join us on Tuesday, June 24th, 3:00pm at the MIRA office. We'll spotlight member involvement in our association with the 'why,' 'when' and 'how' of joining committees, task forces, board of directors and executive leadership as we enjoy some munches and adult beverages.

Who Should Attend:

• REALTORS® and affiliates new to the industry (0-5 years in the industry).
• REALTORS® and affiliates interested in volunteering on a committee
• REALTORS® interested in applying for the Board of Directors or Executive Leadership

What to expect:

• Learn what the President, President-Elect and Treasurer do, what does it take to join a committee and what are the time commitments, what other opportunities are there to get involved in MIRA
• Learn what it takes to be part of the Board of Directors - how to apply, requirements and time commitment.
• Find out how getting involved in your local association will positively impact your business.
• Find out how your skills and volunteered time help shape the future of your association.
• Learn about what the committees accomplish and how decisions are made
• Ask any questions you may have to volunteers who have paved the road ahead of you.

This social hour will take the place of our usual Spotlight on Involvement luncheon. We highly encourage new members and those not already involved to attend. If you know someone interested in running for leadership or joining a committee, invite them to come along!

Sign-ups will be available on the spot! Committee meetings for the 2026 fiscal year will start November 2025 and run through September 2026.

(This is a free event, but since food and drinks will be served, a $10 charge will be incurred by those who register but do not attend.)
