Following the tragic situation in Flint, Michigan where polluted city water flowed into their home’s faucets or the derailed train that emitted toxins to neighboring towns, people are anxious to know that the air they breath and water they drink are safe. Alternative energy sources that can reduce utility costs are also on many people’s radar.

The Ecology Action Center is the not-for-profit environmental sustainability agency for Bloomington, Normal, and McLean County, Illinois. EAC provides education and services in solid waste management and recycling, energy efficiency and renewable energy, clean water protection, air quality improvement, greenhouse gas emissions reduction and climate planning, and more.
